Jeerakathi rice by Bangla Local is hand pounded premium quality rice which has less cooking time compared to other low quality milled Jeerakathi rice. It is a non basmati rice and has short thin grains. This rice is considered one of the best for daily consumption. Jeerakathi rice is a staple in West Bengal region and among the Bengali community. It is a parboiled rice and has many health benefits if compared with normal white rice.
